Putting People First: Building a Workplace Where People Can Thrive
A company’s character is reflected not only in its strategies and ambitions, but also in the everyday experiences of the people who bring them to life.
At Coury, employee care is not treated as a standalone benefit. It is embedded in how we communicate, support well-being, develop talent, and create opportunities. Through practical, long-term initiatives, we are building a workplace where people feel heard, respected, and empowered to grow.
Listening Starts with Leadership
A healthy organization depends on open, two-way communication.
Coury’s senior leadership team, including the Chairman, regularly participates in employee forums, visits frontline teams, and holds one-on-one conversations across departments. These exchanges allow management to better understand employees’ concerns, identify operational challenges, and respond to issues before they become barriers to progress.
By creating direct communication channels between employees and decision-makers, we make feedback more accessible, decisions more grounded, and collaboration more effective. When people know their voices are taken seriously, trust grows and the organization becomes more responsive.
Supporting Health, Connection, and Well-Being
Sustainable performance begins with the well-being of our people.
Coury regularly organizes sports events, team-building activities, and other opportunities for employees to step away from their daily routines, recharge, and strengthen connections with colleagues. Employee-led badminton and table tennis clubs also provide informal spaces for people with shared interests to meet, exercise, and build relationships across teams.
Our Phase II integrated office complex, currently under development, will further enhance the employee experience with facilities including a swimming pool and a professionally equipped fitness center. The new area is scheduled to open in 2027.
These initiatives are designed not simply as workplace amenities, but as part of a long-term commitment to creating a healthier, more balanced, and more connected working environment.
Creating More Than One Path to Growth
There is no single definition of professional success, and no single career path that suits everyone.
Coury has established a dual-track career development framework that allows employees to advance through either management roles or professional and technical positions. This provides clearer opportunities for people with different strengths, ambitions, and areas of expertise.
Supporting this framework is Coury Academy, our internal learning and development platform. Its programs cover the entire employee journey, from onboarding and management trainee development to specialist training for R&D and marketing professionals, leadership development for middle managers, and strategic capability building for senior executives.
In 2025, approximately 12% of Coury employees received internal promotions. During the same year, the company delivered more than 100 training sessions, achieving 100% employee training coverage.
At Coury, talent development is not limited to occasional courses. It is a continuous system that connects individual capability with meaningful opportunities for long-term growth.
Making Inclusion Part of How We Work
A strong organization benefits from different perspectives, experiences, and ways of thinking.
Coury follows ability-based, open, and fair recruitment and employment practices. Discrimination based on gender, age, place of origin, marital status, or parental status is not accepted within our organization.
Today, women represent approximately 50% of our workforce and contribute across production, technical, research, and management functions. Women also account for around 40% of our management team.
Their expertise, judgment, and leadership play an important role throughout the company. We believe diversity strengthens teams, improves decision-making, and creates better conditions for continuous innovation.
A workplace should be more than somewhere people earn a living. It should also be a place where they can develop their abilities, contribute with confidence, and receive the respect their work deserves.
Coury will continue to strengthen its employee care and talent development systems, creating a more open organizational culture, clearer growth pathways, and a workplace experience built around people. By growing together with every colleague, we are building stronger foundations for the future.
